This brilliant river is a perfect trip for a hot summerโs day. The river has several access points and an โOfficerโs Pool,โ built in the days of the British Mandate. The large cement pipes, originally built for water drainage, make perfect water slides. A beautiful lookout point is only a short hike away from the river!
This meeting point of two streams headed towards Kinneret is a dazzling natural treasure. There are trails for every level hiker, and a โwet trailโ, which allows for a hike through the river. An entry fee is required. Book a reservation to guarantee entry at your preferred time.
This nature wonder with its stunning scenery offers a glimpse into history. The river maintains a cold temperature year-round, as it is partially composed of snow melt which flows down from Mount Hermon. Several trails ranging in difficulty and length (3โ6 kilometers) are available with an entrance fee. Beyond the reservation's borders, the river can be accessed free of charge.
Hidden in the southern region of the Dead Sea, is this magnificent reservation. Enjoy a cool, easy two-hour hike (perfect for hot weather) to Ein Bokek, an oasis. The trail offers views of a canyon created by the river, the river itself, as well as several pools and waterfalls.
