Today more than ever, it is important to learn about the Holocaust.

By educating ourselves about the Holocaust, we not only honor the memory of those who perished but also ensure that their stories are not forgotten. We have a responsibility to keep their memory alive and to teach the next generation about the horrors of that era. 

At OFEK we offer a variety of courses that explore how and why the Holocaust happened. Our approach is to make complex issues accessible and engaging for all students. If you are interested in learning more about our future Holocaust studies programs, please reach out to us here.

באופק אנו מציעים מגוון קורסי שואה עם תכנים ולימוד עכשווי על הנושא. בדרך הלמידה המיוחדת שלנו, אנו מנגישים את הנושאים מורכבים לתלמידים בהתאם לגילם.

Join us for a virtual Zikaron Basalon event featuring Menachem Etkin, who will recount his father Michael's remarkable story. At only 11 years old, Michael was the sole survivor of his entire family after escaping the burning ghetto in North Belarus. He went on to display incredible bravery and resourcefulness, joining the Partisans in the vast forests of Belarus. This event is open to all community members, from 7th graders to adults. We encourage parents and children to attend together. Please RSVP.
