Join us for a virtual Zikaron Basalon event featuring Menachem Etkin, who will recount his father Michael's remarkable story. At only 11 years old, Michael was the sole survivor of his entire family after escaping the burning ghetto in North Belarus. He went on to display incredible bravery and resourcefulness, joining the Partisans in the vast forests of Belarus. This event is open to all community members, from 7th graders to adults. We encourage parents and children to attend together. Please RSVP. 🕯️ April 18th, 4:00 PM PST 7:00 PM EST. The event will be held in English.

הצטרפו אלינו למפגש זיכרון בסלון מקוון עם מנחם אטקין, שישתף את סיפורו של אביו, מיכאל, הניצול היחיד מכל משפחתו. מיכאל ברח לבדו מהגטו הבוער בצפון בלארוס כשהיה רק בן 11 והצטרף לפרטיזנים ביערות הענקים של בלארוס. זהו סיפור מדהים ובלתי יאומן על אומץ והישרדות.
